A Shot in the Dark (1964)

£0.00

Country: GB
Technical: col/scope 101m
Director: Blake Edwards
Cast: Peter Sellers, Elke Sommer, George Sanders, Herbert Lom

Synopsis:

The driver of a country gentleman turns up dead, and Inspector Clouseau of the Sûreté Nationale investigates.

Review:

Structured more like a Christie 'whodunnit', the second Pink Panther film in all but name introduces the characters of Commissioner Dreyfus and the manservant Cato, henceforth staples of the series. It also of course brings the Inspector centre stage, permitting Sellers to engage in far more comic business than before, some of which his co-stars are simply left to stand and watch in bemusement.
