Shadey (1985)

£0.00

Country: GB
Technical: col 106m
Director: Philip Saville
Cast: Anthony Sher, Billie Whitelaw, Patrick MacNee

Synopsis:

Oliver Shadey wants a sex change, and parlays his unprecedented gift for recording his mental processes into getting one. But will the corporation he approaches honour their agreement and put it to ethical use?

Review:

Occasionally funny, generally pointless exercise in self-styled surreal comedy, like a cross between David Cronenberg and Terry Gilliam, with an agreeably crazed performance from a star of the stage whose crossover attempt this was, but with a plot that's too random for words.
