Silverado (1985)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col/scope 132m
Director: Lawrence Kasdan
Cast: Kevin Kline, Scott Glenn, Kevin Costner

Synopsis:

Cowboys and drifters clean up a corrupt town.

Review:

The old characters and situations dusted off and given some smart dialogue by Kasdan, inhabited by the best unsung talent in Hollywood at the time, but somehow it all pales in the memory, while Eastwood's Pale Rider the same year at least had some mythic resonance. Maybe there are just too many homages here, so that the subtle variations, like Linda Hunt's unlikely saloon girl and John Cleese's sheriff, get lost.
