Son of Dracula (1943)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: bw 80m
Director: Robert Siodmak
Cast: Lon Chaney Jr., Louise Allbritton, Robert Paige

Synopsis:

A Southern belle invites Count Alucard to her mansion, having heard that he might fulfil her dream of eternal life. The decision proves disastrous for her family and friends, however.

Review:

Pallid, long delayed follow-up to Universal's Dracula (1931), with a star who did not quite have the same charisma. Fortunately the director imparts some sense of style to proceedings, with the atmosphere of the bayous well caught in the opening scene.
