Speed (1994)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col/scope 115m
Director: Jan de Bont
Cast: Keanu Reeves, Jeff Daniels, Dennis Hopper, Sandra Bullock, Joe Morton

Synopsis:

A crazed bomber plays games with a police special units officer who repeatedly foils his attempts to maim and extort.

Review:

The film owes its title to the central episode involving a bus which must not drop below 50mph in speed, though it might well apply to the whole movie, in which scarcely a breath is drawn before we are flung into the next nail-biting sequence. This almost diverts one's attention from several glaring implausibilities, but not quite.
