Street of Shadows (1953)

£0.00

(The Shadow Man)

Country: GB
Technical: bw 84m
Director: Richard Vernon
Cast: Cesar Romero, Kay Kendall, Victor Maddern, Edward Underdown, Simone Silva

Synopsis:

The honourable Italian proprietor of a Soho pinball saloon falls for a socialite whose valuables a burglar has tried to fence on him, but they both have baggage from their past to resolve first.

Review:

Pedestrian London crime drama, with some of the most deferential coppers you ever saw. Points of interest include Maddern's turn as the factotum 'Limpy', Miss Kendall's gowns and Eric Spear's distinctive harmonica score, but the pallid dialogue make this one instantly forgettable.
