The Satanic Rites of Dracula (1973)

£0.00

Country: GB
Technical: col 88m
Director: Alan Gibson
Cast: Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, Michael Coles, Joanna Lumley

Synopsis:

Following on from the events of Dracula A.D. 1972, Van Helsing is called in to investigate allegations that elite individuals are experimenting with diabolism in a mansion outside London, a spot where Dracula's body lies buried.

Review:

Lee's final outing as the Count is an unnecessary addition to the previous film, serving to stretch the saga out further. The new emphasis on Satanism played to contemporary commercial preoccupations, just as the next film would to martial arts movies.
