Tatie Danielle (1990)

£0.00

(Auntie Danielle)

Country: FR
Technical: col 112m
Director: Etienne Chatiliez
Cast: Tsilla Chelton, Catherine Jacob, Isabelle Nanty

Synopsis:

An elderly lady knows her own mind and, having seen off one housekeeper, moves in with her great nephew's family and makes their lives a misery. Until, that is, they go away and leave a younger woman in charge.

Review:

Chatiliez again applies a somewhat jaundiced view of French familial relations to this wicked tale of an old cow meeting her match and finally finding someone she can respect. What one is supposed to take away from it is not certain, but it is pretty darned entertaining all the same.
