The Terminator (1984)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: CFI colour 108m
Director: James Cameron
Cast: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Michael Biehn, Linda Hamilton

Synopsis:

An invincible android is despatched from the future oppressed world to 'terminate' the mother-to-be of its liberator, and a rebel commando is sent after it to protect her.

Review:

Ingeniously written, persuasively told amalgam of a dozen classic SF movies; it has itself become a classic and spawned films even more spectacular and successful than itself, though none so cleverly scripted. The pace is breathless and the violence about as fierce as any perpetrated by cars and guns can get.
