The Truth about Cats and Dogs (1996)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col 90m
Director: Michael Lehmann
Cast: Janeane Garofalo, Uma Thurman, Ben Chaplin

Synopsis:

A caller on a veterinary radio phone-in is attracted to the show hostess but she is so self-conscious about her looks that she gets her stunning neighbour to take her place.

Review:

A Cyrano de Bergerac situation reversed, with some smart moments of the type usually associated with New York-based comedies such as Walking and Talking. The animals are well used but the intrigue goes on for about ten minutes too long.
