They Call Me Trinity (1970)

£0.00

(Lo chiamavano Trinità)

Country: IT
Technical: col/scope 115m
Director: E. B. Clucher (Enzo Barboni)
Cast: Terence Hill (Mario Girotti), Bud Spencer (Carlo Pedersoli), Farley Granger

Synopsis:

A slovenly gunfighter and his horse-thieving brother protect a band of Mormon settlers from a land-grabbing Major and some Mexican bandits.

Review:

First of a pair of films to combine genre ingredients with the silent comedy talents of the brains-and-brawn principals, though the title was much imitated by other Italian Westerns. Diverting or uproarious, depending on your mood, though somewhat overstretched (someone should have cancelled the order for Mexicans).
