Tom Horn (1980)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col/scope 97m
Director: William Wiard
Cast: Steve McQueen, Linda Evans, Richard Farnsworth

Synopsis:

An ex-army scout is hired by ranchers to hunt rustlers, but he falls foul of the new officialdom when a boy dies.

Review:

The star's penultimate film, whatever anyone else says, is an impressive affair. True, this is no Western classic but the star is never less than credible as cowboy approaching his own twilight, the Wyoming setting is striking, and it is all thoughtfully directed and photographed, with perhaps a few too many sunsets. The ending in particular is smartly handled.
