Troll Hunter (2010)

£0.00

(Trolljegeren)

Country: NOR
Technical: col 103m
Director: Andre Øvredal
Cast: Otto Jespersen, Glenn Erland Tosterud, Johanna Mørck

Synopsis:

Three student film makers follow Norway's only troll hunter on his nocturnal activities, but their footage is covered up by the state.

Review:

Another entry in the 'found footage' horror stakes, this example is full of deadpan Scandinavian humour, as you might expect. The trolls are great but the characters are a drag, and nearly two hours spent bobbing up and down, squinting through the sylvan shadows, make this a victim of its own aesthetic.
