Two Men and a Wardrobe (1958)

£0.00

(Dwaj ludzie z szafa)

Country: POL
Technical: bw 15m
Director: Roman Polanski
Cast: Jakub Goldberg, Henryk Kluba

Synopsis:

Two men emerge from the sea with a wardrobe and take it with them everywhere they go. They are sometimes ignored, sometimes shunned, even though they have a positive contribution to make.

Review:

Surreal short the director put together with help from Jerzy Skolimowski. It seems to be speaking to the theme of non-conformity in a totalitarian context, of course, and there is some neat trickery around the use of the wardrobe's mirror.
