The Undefeated (1969)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col/scope 119m
Director: Andrew V. McLaglen
Cast: John Wayne, Rock Hudson, Lee Meriwether

Synopsis:

Confederates and Union soldiers in Mexico for different reasons must band together to fight the revolutionaries who want to take the horses intended for their government.

Review:

A western with pretensions, transcending as it does old enmities between Union and Confederate with a new political awareness as the Juanistas make off with the horses at the end. Ultimately too long and with too many nods to Ford and Hawks.
