The Way of the Gun (2000)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: DeLuxe 119m
Director: Christopher McQuarrie
Cast: Ryan Phillippe, Benicio Del Toro, Juliette Lewis, Geoffrey Lewis, Scott Wilson, James Caan

Synopsis:

Hoodlums around the Mexican border kidnap a surrogate mother and hold her to ransom.

Review:

Voguishly amoral, homage-laden piece of gunplay from the writer of The Usual Suspects. Self-aware enough to provide some entertainment for connoisseurs, but with little in the way of characterisation so that the Butch and Sundance comparison carries no emotional weight by the time we come to the carbon copy climax.
