The Wedding March (1928)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: bw/col silent 110m approx (24fps)
Director: Erich Von Stroheim
Cast: Erich Von Stroheim, Fay Wray, Zasu Pitts

Synopsis:

In 1914 Vienna the son of the crown prince falls for an innkeeper's daughter but marries an heiress instead.

Review:

Originally a much longer film, the second part, The Honeymoon, was lost in the 1950s. What remains is certainly more adult in tone than the majority of silent films, but it is uncertain whether it was worth all the money spent on it, given the lack of consequence of its story.
