The Wings of Eagles (1957)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col 110m
Director: John Ford
Cast: John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara, Ward Bond

Synopsis:

A Navy pilot and hellraiser is paralysed in an accident, which saves his marriage, and he goes in to screenwriting instead. On the outbreak of WW2 he discovers there is still a contribution he can make to the Navy, however.

Review:

Entertaining biopic, with much camaraderie and surprisingly little nail-biting melodrama in the relationship with O'Hara.
