The Woman in Red (1984)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col 87m
Director: Gene Wilder
Cast: Gene Wilder, Charles Grodin, Gilda Radner, Kelly LeBrock

Synopsis:

A happily married middle-aged man sees a pretty woman and suddenly he is no longer so happy. He must know her, whatever it takes.

Review:

Just before you wonder where Wilder thought he was going with this banal premise, it was based on an Yves Robert film, Un éléphant ça trompe énormément, aka Pardon mon affaire, a wispy concoction of the 1970s. Whether it's lost in translation of just a decade too late, it don't work.
