When Harry Met Sally (1989)

£0.00

Country: US
Technical: col 95m
Director: Rob Reiner
Cast: Billy Crystal, Meg Ryan, Carrie Fisher, Bruno Kirby

Synopsis:

Harry and Sally decide to be just friends, but after many years of platonic love sex finally gets in the way, just as Harry always predicted it would. Are the two relationships reconcilable, the film asks, or is it, in either case, too late?

Review:

A successfully hip comedy about relationships, about marriage in fact, as the inserted 'documentary' interviews continually remind us, and a delightful, funny and touching one it is. Its perceptive and smart script is greatly abetted by the lead performances, particularly Crystal, who lands his first big score since moving to feature work despite being too old for the part.
