Young Einstein (1989)

£0.00

Country: AUS
Technical: col 91m
Director: Yahoo Serious
Cast: Yahoo Serious, Odile Le Clezio, John Howard

Synopsis:

1906, Down Under: son of Tasmanian apple farmers, Albert Einstein discovers how to split the beer atom, travels to Sydney to patent his invention, meets Marie Curie and invents rock'n'roll.

Review:

Young Mr Lincoln, Young Sherlock Holmes, Young Winston and now this, a cross between Monty Python and Animal House. A decidedly odd mix, rarely as funny as its wackiness would like to be, and very sporadic in its inventiveness. One is not sure who its target audience is meant to be, and the distributor found it just as difficult to market.
